Hazards Identification
(HAZID) and Hazards & Operability (HAZOP) studies
are organized efforts, using brainstorming
approach, to identify and analyze the significance of hazardous situations associated with
specific activities or process systems.
Specifically, HAZID and HAZOP studies are used to pinpoint
weaknesses in the design and operation of
facilities that could lead to accidental
chemical releases, fires, or explosions.
Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA): QRA is a process of quantifying the likelihood and consequences of accidents scenarios, and then combine them to produce the risk level.
FEGDS is carried out to evaluate heat radiation
from accidental events, such as fire and
explosion from Oil & Gas installations. This
study identifies the heat radiation and
temperature at certain distance from heat
sources and assess its dangers to human.....
Thermal Dispersion Study is carried out to evaluate heat radiation impacts from heat sources, such as generators, boilers, furnaces, etc., to people working/living nearby.
